Merchant Onboarding Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Saurah Finanace Pvt Ltd ("we", "our", or "us"). These Merchant Onboarding Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation as a merchant on our loan distribution platform, which enables you to onboard clients and apply on their behalf for renewable energy loans. By completing the onboarding process, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with the onboarding process.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting your application to become a merchant, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

To become a merchant, you must:

  • Be a legally recognized business entity with the authority to act on behalf of clients.
  • Operate in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to loan distribution and renewable energy.
  • Provide accurate and complete information during the onboarding process.

3. Onboarding Process

The onboarding process involves:

  • Submitting required documentation and information about your business.
  • Verification of your business and compliance with our standards.
  • Approval from us, which may involve additional requests for information or clarification.

We reserve the right to accept or reject any application at our discretion.

4. Merchant Account

Upon approval, you will receive access to a merchant account on our platform. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • Ensuring that all activities under your account comply with these Terms and applicable laws.

4.1 Onboarding Platforms

The Company will onboard the merchants via any of the following ways:
  • Self-onboarding through website/application – Where merchants may directly register themselves using the merchant portal or application
  • Onboarding through sales or activation teams – Where merchants will be onboarded through Operations Team

4.2 Merchant Onboarding Process

Merchant onboarding will comprise of below steps / stages:

4.3 Merchant Prerequisites & Documents Workflow

There is a maker and checker involved wherein all details entered at the time of onboarding/Sign up by a maker/Merchant is validated by the checker.

4.3.1 Maker/Self Sign-up – Onboarding

All documents and prerequisite information are entered along with required validation at the time of Maker onboarding and merchant self-sign-up. Maker/Merchant sign-up portal will not be able to submit the application in case of incomplete application.

4.3.2 Checker – Onboarding

Checker validates all prerequisite information along with the documents uploaded with validation at the time of onboarding to either approve/reject the merchant.

5. Fees and Payments

Fees related to your merchant account or specific transactions will be outlined in our Fee Schedule if any. You agree to:

  • Pay all applicable fees in a timely manner.
  • No fees should be taken from clients for onboarding through the merchant website.

6. Responsibilities

As a merchant, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information regarding client applications for renewable energy loans.
  • Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and our platform’s policies.
  • Ensure that all information submitted on behalf of clients is truthful and not misleading.
  • Ensure that no personal data of clients is stored with the merchant personally.
  • Maintain the security of your merchant account and promptly report any unauthorized use or breach.

7. Use of Platform

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our platform solely for the purpose of submitting and managing loan applications for your clients. All intellectual property related to our platform remains the property of Saurah Finanace Pvt Ltd.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to your use of our platform. Our total liability for any claim related to these Terms will be limited to the fees paid by you for the service giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your merchant account if:

  • You breach these Terms or fail to comply with our policies.
  • Engage in fraudulent activities or misrepresentation.
  • Violate applicable laws or regulations.

You may terminate your account by providing us with written notice.

10. Amendments

We may amend these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our platform following such amendments constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
